Synergetic Coatings (Polymer Coatings)

Synergetic Coatings (Polymer Coatings)

Synergetic coatings are in multi-step created hard surface processes that have been scientifically designed to create surfaces that outperform conventional coatings in various ways.

Generally we can divide synergetic coatings in 3 different categories:

  • A base layer of DURNI-COAT® electroless Nickel and a top layer of fluoropolymers;
  • A base layer of HART-COAT® hard anodizing and a top layer of fluoropolymers;
  • A base layer of DURNI-COAT® electroless Nickel or HART-COAT® hard anodizing or a modified basematerial and a top layer of fluoropolymers.

Most of this layers combine various properties like:

  • Prevent mechanical wear, abrasion and galling
  • Superior dry-lubrication
  • Resist corrosion and attack by acids and other chemicals
  • Increased hardness
  • Generates less friction
  • Permanent dry lubrication
  • Superior non-stick properties
  • FDA, USDA and NSF listed (some variants)
  • MIL-A-63576 compliance (some variants)
  • Can be applied on all metal alloys
