Silver Plating

Silver plating is a surface treatment that, due to the excellent technical properties of silver, can be applied to a broad range of different metals and products. AHC Benelux BV is your partner when it comes to the silver plating of the most diverse components or products. Thanks to our years of experience we can ensure an outstanding quality even for most complex shapes.

During electroplating, silver is deposited on the surface of conductive parts from an electrolyte, containing silver salts with the support of an electric current flow. The electrolyte’s chemical composition and the process parameters determine the layer’s properties. In our sites silver layers are applied at a process temperature of 15 till 30°C. For silver plating, AHC operates two well equipped production lines: one fully automated line and a new rack and barrel plating line. Both, rack and barrel plating are suited for the treatment of single parts as well as serial production with a high degree of reproducibility.

In order to be able to guarantee perfect quality our quality department is equipped with the most accurate measuring equipment. Among the product quality, we believe the quality of the environment is very important. Our monitoring system (IPC-AWS) monitors 24 hours per day the quality of the (rinsing-)water. In addition, we have a special purification plant, especially developed for the purification and reuse of the rinsing water.
